Cookie policy
Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Studio Fedeli & Olivotto Associati STP S.r.l. provides you with the following information about the cookies installed on the fedeliolivotto.it domain (hereinafter, the “Site”).
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of text, usually made up of letters and/or numbers, which are sent by the Site and stored by the browser installed on the device you use for browsing. Cookies are then sent back to the Site on your next visit.
Cookies make it possible to store information about your visits to the Site and are a very useful technology, as they help the Site work properly and more efficiently.
Cookies can be classified by:
- duration: session or persistent cookies;
- origin: first-party or third-party cookies;
- purpose: strictly necessary cookies, performance analysis cookies and behavioural advertising cookies.
Cookies that expire at the end of a browser session (usually when the browser is closed or the session times out) are called session cookies and are useful, for example, to keep the browsing session active. Cookies that are stored for a longer period (between one session and the next) are called persistent cookies and are useful, for example, to remember your preferences or to offer targeted advertising.
The distinction between first-party and third-party refers to the website or domain that installs the cookie. First-party cookies are installed directly by the Site, while third-party cookies are installed by a different domain, for example when the Site embeds elements from other services, such as advertising platforms.
It should be noted that the purposes usually served by a cookie can also be achieved through other similar technologies, including certain features that make it possible to identify devices in order to analyse visits to the Site. This policy applies to any technology that stores or accesses information on your device. This category may include, for example, HTML5 local storage, Local Shared Objects (also known as flash cookies) and fingerprinting techniques. From now on, references to cookies also include these similar technologies.
Which cookies does this Site use?
Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies allow the Site to work properly and let you use its content and services easily: for example, they remember the language you selected and record your cookie preferences, so that the banner is not shown again on every visit. They cannot be disabled and your prior consent is not required for their installation. They are first-party cookies, stored for a maximum of 1 year.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile as an anti-spam verification system. Turnstile does not use advertising tracking cookies; it may set a technical session cookie that is strictly necessary to complete the verification.
Statistics cookies: Google Analytics 4
Statistics cookies help website owners understand how visitors interact with the site by collecting and reporting information in aggregate form. The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to measure visits in aggregate form (pages visited, traffic source, device type) and the number of contact requests and newsletter sign-ups sent through the Site.
Google Analytics is loaded, and the related cookies installed, only after you consent to the “Statistics” category through the banner; without consent it is not loaded. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; data is kept for 2 months and is not used for advertising purposes.
| Name | Duration | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | 2 years | Distinguishes visitors for statistical purposes | |
| _ga_JW4N8KNW2W | 2 years | Maintains the browsing session state |

Third-party cookies: Google Maps
The Contacts page includes an interactive map provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). The map is loaded, and the related cookies installed, only after you give your consent through the banner; without consent, a placeholder is shown instead.
| Name | Duration | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| NID | 6 months | Stores preferences and information for the operation of Google services, including the map | |
| AEC | 6 months | Security: prevents fraudulent requests | |
| SOCS | 13 months | Stores the user’s choices regarding Google cookies |

Profiling cookies and social networks
The Site does not use profiling or advertising cookies. The Site contains simple links to the Studio’s LinkedIn profile: there are no share buttons or embedded social media content, so no third-party cookies are installed unless you choose to visit the social network. Once on LinkedIn, its own policy applies: linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.
How can you manage your cookie preferences?
When you first access any page of the Site, a banner is displayed with a short notice that lets you choose whether and which cookies to install. Only strictly necessary cookies are active without consent; all other cookies remain disabled until you choose to enable them. Consent to cookies other than strictly necessary ones can be changed or withdrawn at any time using the button below:
In addition, you can also change your cookie settings through your browser, by deleting all or some cookies or by limiting them to certain sites.
